Angry Birds Space hit 10M download mark in 3 days

Rovio has launched their latest Angry Birds version called Angry Birds Space. Angry Birds versions are always the center of the town talks. In just 3 days of its launch it market 10 Million downloads. The news came through the way of a tweet so a detailed report about business could not be extracted as to how many people purchased the unlocking version and added features.

Rovio’s  Peter Vesterbacka said to Tech Crunch in an interview about the latest addition. He said that this game is the most amazing release till date. They have high expectations from the game and are also happy with the results. He also quoted that some of the fans may be playing the game alongwith the Angry Birds Space Toys.

Vesterbacka also said that Rovio is not planning on making a Windows based version and this created huge controversy in tech industry. Windows based 3rd party Phones declined on sales due to this statement and so Vesterbracka had to correct the statement and said that Windows based version is on it’s way.

Rovio isn’t going to rest on the success of Angry Birds Space like it did with its first games. The company plans on releasing four more Angry Birds games in 2012. We don’t have the details on the upcoming titles, but chances are the game involves slinging upset birds at green pigs.
